2Face Idibia's Brand New Single - Rainbow, Informal Review

2Face Idibia

Tu baba once again representing with a scintillating sweetly husky vocal rendition of his latest single titled "Rainbow" sang in a style that can only be 2Face. Off course its a love song and yes it is lyrically sound and pumping.

Except for the Back up and the instrumental, every other element of the song was in perfect place and for what it is worth, representing of 2Faces' caliber.

As far as the back up for 2Faces' new sensational single goes, i personally feel using a full range of back up support would have given the song more depth, feel and flavour. The back up on the contrary was taken by 2Face himself. No offence, but 2Face has become an institution that should be a standard to the African music industry at large, and thus 2Face should not spare resources in bringing out the very best.

The beat and rhythm of the instrumental of "Rainbow" were cool, but the instrumentals were certainly a studio mix. I also feel that 2Faces' "Rainbow" would have been far better served and certainly turned into a classic with a live band recording. 2Face is certainly talented and gifted, i believe it is only fair for him to allow his fans the pleasure of enjoying his talent with a live presentation. Enough with all the DJ play me track one kind of performance, let the boys keep doing that, i believe its time for 2Baba to assume his legacy role in the African music industry.
