SHAMED Lindsay Lohan has snubbed lucrative offers to host New Year's Eve bashes — to avoid trouble as she completes her probation.
Li-Lo, 25 — convicted of nicking a £1,500 necklace — instead plans a quiet night with pals at her LA home.
A source said: "She's desperately trying to change her party girl image and feels staying out of the New Year's Eve madness is a major step."
Playboy star cover girl Lindsay, who was rapped in the past by a judge for not taking her community service seriously, won praise at a probation hearing earlier this month.
Other star celebrities however are cashing in on the biggest party night of the year.
Reality star Kim Kardashian will pocket £380,000 for attending a Las Vegas club on December 31.
Black Eyed Pea Fergie will rake in £64,000 performing at 1Oak at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas.
But Mariah Carey will be spending the evening at home with husband Nick Cannon and twins Monroe and Moroccan after she had no takers.
The singer had been looking for a £319,000 sum — according to the New York Post
