Unibuja Protest: FG reverse Suspension Of Four Courses

David's Africa Blog

The Minister of Education, Professor Ruqayyatu Ahmed Rufa’i has today announced the lifting of the suspension placed on four courses of the university of Abuja for lack of fulfillment of accreditation requirements. She also promised to provide necessary facilities needed for the accreditation of the four courses namely;   medical sciences, veterinary medicine, engineering and agriculture. This decision is coming on the heels of a mass protest organized by the students yesterday, which blocked the major roads in Abuja..

(So why didn't you provide the facilities in the first place, instead of punishing the innocent students../?)...
