Zenith Bank conducts mass sack. According to grapevine sources, the management of Zenith Bank today laid off many marketers, managers, AGM's, and GM,s. The exact number laid off is not clear yet but this is not the first time the bank will be carrying out this sort of action, only last year Zenith Bank Plc laid off 300 of its IT staff, and reassigned their responsibilities to Customer Service Officer's and Operations manager's. Even though that case is still in court at the moment, the bank must have been hard hit to have taken yet a similar drastic measure so soon. Perhaps an after effect of Huracane Sanusi....
My heart heart goes out to the affected persons, may they find better opportunities elsewhere.
