Forex Trader Who Spent £320,000 on Champagne Arrested

In March, 23-year-old UK Foreign Exchange trader Alex Hope made headlines for reportedly spending more than $320,000 on champagne at a Liverpool night club. Exactly one month later, he’s back in the news. But this time, instead of libations, it’s about allegations.

Hope was arrested Tuesday by the U.K.’s Financial Services Authority “on suspicion of being involved in an unauthorised foreign exchange trading scheme,” City A.M reported. His publicist, who told City A.M. that Hope denies the allegations, had no further comment when contacted by The Huffington Post.

The Gaurdian newspaper confirmed that suspect was Hope, who made international news after spending about $200,000 on a bottle of Champagne while partying with Manchester United soccer players

Genevieve Losses Bond Movie Role To Naomi Harris

Genevieve left,...                         Naomi Harris Right...

Naomi as Tia Dalma, a witch in a pirate film

Earlier rumor that had been swirling in the last couple of weeks had indicated that Genevieve Nnaji was set to play the role of the next bond girl, and that the agreement was almost a done deal. It has now emerged however, that British actress and Pirates of the Caribbean movie star Naomie Harris has edged out Genevieve as the next bond girl, according to News Of The World, a tabloid magazine in the UK.
News Of The World confirmed the story after speaking to Naomie.

Naomie, 34, will be Daniel Craig’s sexy sidekick in the soon -to-be filmed new 007 movie.
The British actress was spellbinding as Tia Dalma, the grotesque witch in the second and third Pirate films.
And her steamy love scene with Jamie Foxx in the Miami Vice remake proved she’s the right caliber for Bond. Naomie, who stays superfit doing pilates and yoga, says: “I’m totally comfortable naked.”
Her mind’s just as agile – she graduated from Cambridge University with a degree in social and political science.

Londoner Naomie revealed she isn’t recognized in the street, despite her movie success. “I like that,” she says. “I’ve got one of those faces that people don’t recognize.”
All that is about to change as she follows in the footsteps of gorgeous Bond girls like Ursula Andress, Jane Seymour and Halle Berry.
The plot of the new film, known only by its working title Bond 23, is being kept firmly under wraps. Judi Dench will again play M and Ralph Fiennes is in the running for a role. It is due for release in November 2012.

For what is worth, Genevieve was considered for the role, which is a shining example, appreciation, and recognition for her acting prowess the world over, and a better opportunity may just be around the corner.

Not too worry shah, your day shall come...

Ngozi Okonjo Iweala To Be First Thirdworld World Bank President

Ngozi Oknojo Iweala; Leading Candidate for World bank Presidency
The candidacy of the world bank presidency has been an issue of heated controversy lately, reason being that the two leading contenders are not Americans or from any developed country either.

Traditionally, America has always produced the president of the world bank, while Europe  produced that of the International Monetary Fund (IMF). For Over 70 years, Third-world countries have had no reason to challenge this statuesque since they had no better candidate to challenge the western Oligarchy.

But the rise of Ngozi Okonjo Iweala has completely tipped the balance in favour of the third-World countries. The World Bank is the world’s premier development institution. Its boss needs experience in government, in economics and in finance (it is a bank, after all). He or she should have a broad record in development, too. Ms Okonjo-Iweala has all these attributes, and Colombia’s José Antonio Ocampo has a couple. By contrast Jim Yong Kim, the American public-health professor whom Barack Obama wants to impose on the bank, has at most one.

So who will be the next world bank president, is left to be seen whether the west will practice their own gospel of meritocracy....
